The Tees Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP) is a multi-agency statutory requirement of local child death review partners. CDOP work together with the local Safeguarding Children Partnerships and other agencies in Tees to co-ordinate the review of child deaths of children up to age 17. The focus of this review is to support bereaved parents/carers and their families and share learning to help prevent future child deaths.

 

Tees CDOP is responsible for reviewing the deaths of children normally resident in the four local authority areas across the Tees: Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees.
