Lincolnshire baby's death caused by choking

The death of a new-born baby boy in Lincolnshire, which is being investigated as part of a murder inquiry, was caused by choking. Lincolnshire Police had arrested a 16-year-old girl over the incident, which happened in Hadrian Drive, Baston, at 01:51 BST on Thursday. A police spokesman said the girl was helping with their inquiries.
A post-mortem examination revealed the baby's death was caused by an obstruction of the airway.
The police officer confirmed:: "Our officers will be in the area over the weekend investigating this tragic set of circumstances.
"Although we are unable to release any more detail at this stage, we can reassure the public we are not looking for outstanding suspects.
"We are simply gathering evidence and piecing together the sequence of events over the last couple of days.
"If anyone thinks they can help our investigation I would urge them to get in touch with us as soon as possible."
